Tips For Choosing Clay Kit:
No Stain:
1. Wash Then Knead.
Wash your hands before kneading.
2. Wash Then Print.
Wash whatever you gonna print on
clay to avoid any unwanted marks.
No Cracks:
1. A Thorough Kneading. Prioritize a thorough and longer kneading
process. Knead the clay for at least 4-5 minutes until it becomes soft,
smooth, and free of lumps and bubbles.
2. Olive Drops. Add a few drops of olive oil if the clay surface feels too
dry after kneading.
3. Dry Naturally. Allow the clay to dry naturally for 48 hours or more,
avoiding direct sunlight. Dry the clay before framing up.
4. Just In Case. Keep a small portion of the original clay sealed in a bag.
If the dried clay develops cracks, use the saved clay to fix them.
No Regrets:
1. A Rough Measurement. Measure the imprint area using hands or feet
with the frame before making the actual print on clay.
2. A Firm Press. Apply firm pressure when printing on the clay.
3. Alphabet And Numbers. Also print with the alphabet and number mold.
4. Remake Possible. Remember, you can always remake the imprint if the first
attempt isn’t perfect or if you notice wrinkles and small cracks during the
initial drying process. Act quickly if the clay is still soft and smooth enough
to knead.
